Constructed from reclaimed vintage textiles and built around bold appliquéd lettering across the back, this piece sits somewhere between protest garment, wearable art, winter armour, and inside joke.
 
Loud in both colour and attitude, it was made for the kind of person who enjoys taking up space.
Handmade slowly in my Canberra studio, the coat features oversized shaping, deep pockets, and carefully layered reclaimed fabrics chosen for both texture and visual impact.
 
Every appliqué piece was individually cut, quilted, and sewn by hand.
Like all Emmy Bones garments, Labia Mafia is completely one-of-a-kind and will never be recreated exactly.
